L\u2019adh\u00e9sion de l\u2019Union africaine au Groupe des 20 en tant que membre permanent renforcera la voix du Sud global, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 le Premier ministre indien Narendra Modi \u00e0 l’ouverture du sommet du G20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le Premier ministre indien Narendra Modi a f\u00e9licit\u00e9 l’Union africaine pour son admission au G20 en tant que membre permanent du groupe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apr\u00e8s les compliments de Modi, le ministre indien des Affaires \u00e9trang\u00e8res, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, s’est approch\u00e9 du pr\u00e9sident de l’Union africaine, Azali Assoumani, et l’a escort\u00e9 jusqu’\u00e0 un si\u00e8ge \u00e0 la table o\u00f9 se r\u00e9unissent les membres du G20 et a plac\u00e9 une pancarte et un drapeau de l’Union africaine devant lui.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En juin dernier, le Premier ministre indien Narendra Modi a propos\u00e9 aux dirigeants du G20 que l\u2019Union africaine devienne membre \u00e0 part enti\u00e8re du groupe. Au sein du G20, l’Union africaine – une organisation r\u00e9unissant 55 \u00c9tats du continent africain – aura le m\u00eame statut au sein de l’organisation que l’UE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab\u00a0L’Union africaine devient membre permanent du G20. Un r\u00e9sultat cl\u00e9 [du sommet du G20]\u00a0\u00bb, a \u00e9crit le chef de la diplomatie indienne sur sa page sur le r\u00e9seau social X (anciennement Twitter).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/a>\u00ab\u00a0C’est un grand honneur pour moi d’accueillir l’Union africaine en tant que membre permanent de la famille du G20\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Modi. \u00ab\u00a0Cela renforcera le G20, ainsi que la voix du Sud global\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
